Welcome Letter

Honorable participants and esteemed advisors,

On behalf of our organizing team and advisor, I am glad to welcome you to our in-person MUNESCO conference. This will be the 19th conference, so far, held in Bilkent Laboratory and International School (BLIS), Ankara. The conference will take place between the 1st and 3rd of March.

As a conference affiliated with THIMUN, we are one of the most prestigious conferences in Turkey, with nearly two decades of experience in welcoming hundreds of participants each year.

MUNESCO's mission is to help a new generation of world leaders and bastions of diplomacy grow and be fluent in matters of international cooperation and world politics. As an ambassador, delegate, student officer, judge, or advocate, participants gain key interpersonal skills.

The theme for this year's conference is “Collaboration for Innovation”. In the modern age where innovation is stagnating and competition is becoming less collaborative, it is important to find ways to cultivate new ideas and novel solutions to the problems that affect us. This is something that is needed, especially in the face of global issues with global consequences.

Consequently, it is again our pleasure to welcome you to the conference, and we are hoping to see you in March.
